The Brickyard: Condos with Open spaces Flooded with Natural Light

The Brickyard 2

Developed and constructed in 1996 by Jonathan Segal, FAIA, the Brickyard are condos that designed with the help of Joseph Wong. It is an awesome project that won the San Diego Chapter AIA Honor Award in 1995 for the design and development of this steel and wood frame over a project of a concrete garage.

This building sits on the corner of G and India Streets in Downtown San Diego’s Marina District. Large outdoor patios or yards and awesome high ceilings can be found on the ground-floor townhomes. There are open spaces that flooded with natural light in the upper floor lofts and some of these lofts also offer spiral staircases and comfortable outdoor patios.

The result of this project is comfortable condos that become ideal places for living in the middle of downtown.
