The good indoor and outdoor spaces are created by the clear architectural grip. The hybrid ventilation systems are combined with healthy building materials to provide a good indoor environment. This new school building contains the main entrance for the entire school, canteen, SFO, and also administration section.

The location of the new building can provide good connections to the existing school buildings on two floors with an internal communication path. There is also a new main entrance which is planned in the meeting between existing and new buildings with the input from both sides. A floating platform can be created by expanding the campus platform, forming a clear and logical separation between retail and school functions, public and semi-public (outdoor) spaces. This platform also serves as a catalyst for the site that defines the pedestrian flows on the campus. On the first floor, a square is created and it can be used as a terrace for the polyvalent space and other activities.

The natural daylighting that comes into the building is maximized in the occupied spaces. The artificial lighting is controlled with master control programming, dual-level switching, and occupant sensors.

The mood and visual accents in these hotel buildings are made with linear elements that support the rhythm of the pines outside and the contrast black color. Emotional details are also added such as the decorative branch cuttings with wooden bird figurines and birdhouses, a beautiful symbol of the Relax Park Verholy.

The office building offers minimalist interiors that can bring the mood, especially in the hotel rooms. It is revived by the designed with bright design prints that also act as interior decoration in the walls.

In order to achieve Passive House Certification, this Australia’s largest cross-laminated timber (CLT) building is designed with some CLT panels to halve the embodied carbon amount. It works better than typical concrete construction in a building. This way also can help the Monash University in achieving its target of “net-zero” carbon by 2030.

Stands on rue Coulmiers and rises in an eight-story tower, the building is distinguished by some projecting windows. Those windows seem to have been there for a long time randomly. It is also used as a solution for the second volume of the building which is different from its bronze color and its small size from its neighbor.

The main program of 582 K Road is about increating the retail exposure and refurbish the office space in order to meet the need of modern tenants. Less than half of the site’s development remains today and only a part of the hotel is standing still at the edge area of Newton Road.

The two buildings of Gonzague Saint Bris Social and Cultural Center are almost identical and also designed from the same archetype with the Norman habitat and imposing terracotta roofs. With the L arrangement around the square which is also symmetrical, the building volumes combined the coating of a textured tile (Terreal) and a larch-glued laminated framework consists of large porticos 8m in span.
