This tiny house is designed as an escape from the monotony of the city for a partner. FARMSUP is designed by I LIKE DESIGN STUDIO who works together with ChaleeyaDESIGN Co., Ltd for the interior. With 100 sqm of the total construction area, this house is perfect for a simple life and simple daily happiness in life.
The aim is to live the partner’s life by their own produce food, live sufficiently, live slowly, manage waste, and be easy and comfortable without following capitalism’s trend. The 100 sqm area is constructed for a living room, bathroom, pantry, and external storage on the house’s ground floor.
There is a glass door in the living room that can be opened to enjoy the farm’s views while the mezzanine is designed as a bedroom that opens to the enjoyable views to the double volume space connected to the living room.
There is a long narrow window in the bedroom that places across the direction of the north-south wind. This window is made to provide privacy but one can still able to get natural wind. The house spaces are designed to be the smallest size the right things can fit into only.
This house is located on the island platform in the middle of the fish pond. During the rainy season, the water fills the pond and the house looks like it is floating on the water, surrounded by fruit plots and vegetables.
The owner has supervised construction work, manage waste systems, grow fruits and vegetables, and also raise fish by themselves. This house and its surroundings are an appreciation for the value of nature on earth for them. It is a place that they called “a place of happiness dream”
