Chili Hilly Bali A Contemporary Weekend Retereat In Bali 5

Chili Hilly Bali is a weekend residence located in Ubud, Bali. The 1050-square-meter residence was designed by Word of Mouth [WoM] House. Overlooking spectacular views of the Ayung River’s valley, Chili Hilly is a perfect weekend retreat that allows the occupants to get closer to nature.

The green landscape will greet you once you step your foot on the Chili Hilly ground. Inside, there are contemporary spaces consisted of an open plan living and dining room, two en-suite bedrooms, and a mezzanine study room plus lounge situated above the kitchen area. There is also a garden courtyard you can use for entertainment or outdoor dining area.

WoM House mostly used red brick, recycled teak, pebble wash, and polished concrete. These materials then combined with iron pillars and beams for the structure. For the interior, the design team went with the idea of combining art, the universe, and a composition of contrasts. At some points, they used colorful decorations to live up the interior atmosphere.
