In short, this new public function acts as facilities to accommodate the local community. Between the pavilion and the manor farm, there is an intimate ‘village square’ it can be considered as an outdoor extension of the foyer.
The landscape of Buffalo Bayou Park will be more stable to provide the best habitat. Using Texan species, it can return a place sense to the city around the park. All of the walkways, plantings, and lighting are built to withstand the periodic flooding.
The bedroom is full of windows, not only on the wall but also on the ceiling of the roof. When the owner lies on the bed, the beautiful view of big trees in the forest and the sky can be seen clearly. This room is designed in a beautiful look and also in a comfortable atmosphere for sleeping.
Children love to run. That’s why the corridor inside the SP Nursery building is made in a wide size. This corridor is also designed with a full wooden floor which is safe for them to run. They can also enjoy the view through the large glass wall along the corridor.
The combination of different materials and colors can be seen in the open area interior. The furniture, floor, and staircase are united to give an awesome look of wood. The kitchen storage and island has a beautiful white color surface.
he courtyard of ST Nursery is not only a place for the children to play. They also can feel and enjoy the nature well in this area. This courtyard is designed with green elements like trees and grass. It is also a good connection that ST Nursery has for them with nature.
The sky terrace is located on the tower’s 31st floor extends the beautiful view. You can see this view from a lounge toward to the skyline.
The 3.6576-meter wide bridge along with its 239-meter length is supported by a weathering steel truss by which supports the concrete deck. LED light fixtures were installed in the bridge deck.
Since it is impossible to build a septic system on Ragged Island, a composting toilet was chosen for the bathroom. Only the stove and water heater operate off propane while everything else, such as refrigerator, is powered by solar cells on the porch roof. A wood stove can heat the house during chilly nights.
